I bought this coffee maker since the reviews raved on how hot the coffee stays.
I put it on automatic and it started promplty and finished about 1/2 hour before I poured it. The coffee was pretty much luke warm. I was disappointed!!! Today I tried pouring boiling water into the pot first to prewarm it...then just before I hit the start I emptied the pot...it was better this time but really I've had hotter coffee with my really cheap basic coffee maker. Maybe mine's defective??
***update** I contacted the manufacturer who promptly answered my email...apparently you have to make a few cups at a time to keep it hot. I'm very happy with my new coffee maker although I now am "forced" to drink MORE coffee! hee hee.
