Unheard of in the realm of coffee makers, I was willing to give it a try since Zojirushi is so well known for its quality products and our family has owned quite a few of their rice cookers and air pots! The coffee brews well, quick and stays hot for a long time. My only complaint mirrors those of other reviewers and the lid to the carafe is a bit difficult to manage and could have been designed better. Otherwise, no problems using #4 paper filters and the machine looks great on my countertop too without taking up valuable counter space. I recommend it to anyone to give it a try!
