I love that the coffee is ready when I get up, that the coffee temperature is hot not scalding, that the stainless steel is easy to keep clean, and that it looks nice sitting on the kitchen counter. BUT one week to the day I enjoyed my first cup of coffee I awoke to find brown water and coffee grounds all over my counter. I know that several other customers who reviewed this item had the same problem and I wonder if anyone ever discovered the cause. I have to say that once I cleaned up the mess I made another pot of coffee that was perfect. I hope that this is not a recurring problem.
