Purchased this coffee maker about a month ago and I'm totally thrilled with it. The coffee is great and stays hot for hours. I've actually poured a cup of coffee 6 hours after it was brewed and it was still hot enough for my tastes. It's user friendly. I'm not sure what the fuss is about the filters. Number 4's fit fine. I'm even using up my old Mr. Coffee style filters and they work ok. The only complaint I have is not smelling the coffee brewing, but guess what, the smell is going into the coffee flavor.
