I am more than pleased with this coffee maker. It is easy to use and easy to program. It makes excellent coffee, and keeps the coffee hot for four hours or longer. I have always preferred carafe models because, unlike with hot plate models, the coffee doesn't acquire a burnt taste after a couple of hours. Plus you can take the carafe with you to another room after brewing to avoid going back to the coffee maker for each cup. The only minor criticism I have of this unit is that the spout drips a bit after pouring unless you are very careful. Overall, though, an excellent unit at a very good price. I highly recommend it.
