We have some wickedly cold mornings here in the Twin Cities, so there's nothing better than waking up to a steaming flavorfull cup of Folgers. I've owned every brand of drip coffemaker out there during the past 30+ years and this is by far the best of them all. A couple weeks ago the wife set up the coffee maker as per usual before she hit the hay and without thinking hit the wrong button. Instead of pressing "Auto" she hit the "On" button so we had a full pot of coffee at 10:00pm. Being the frugal Swede, I decided to put the cap on the thermal carafe and go to bed. The following morning I poured a cup and to my amazement it was hot enough to enjoy without considering the microwave trick. Now I know that coffee purists would never think of drinking 8 hour old coffee but I tell this anecdote to show the quality of the thermal carafe.
