I purchased this coffee maker last year and couldn't be more pleased. Some complain about the coffee in regards to heat and I don't know what they mean. Coffee is not supposed to be scalding hot! The temp is perfect as far as I'm concerned and with the carafe there's never a smell of burning coffee an hour later. I even drink it the next day on occasion and it is still warm.
