I purchased my new Zojirushi coffeemaker with a recommendation from a Consumer site. I had a thermal carafe coffeemaker for the last 10 years, and wouldn't have anything else. When it started leaking, a bit, I started looking for a new one. It didn't have the timer I wanted, so I purchased this new one. I love the ability to set it up the night before, and awaken to the wonderful smell of coffee. However, the correctly sized filters do not fit the basket without a little trimming, and the noise , especially at the end of the brewing cycle, is enough to wake up the whole house.
