I bought this for my mom as a gift. This machine brews a good cup of coffee, but the lid to the carafe comes in two parts (I fear one will be lost) and the water arm swings inside the machine in an ackward way. Also, the carafe does not fit very well in the machine when both parts of the lid are on it.
