Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker Order Now

We finally had to replace our several years-old Krupps AromaControl Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker and turned to Amazon. Looking for a machine under $100, we settled on this Zojirushi. The good news is that it makes and keeps good, hot coffee. There are some minor design flaws or inconveniences that the buyer should be aware of before purchasing:

**The filter size is No. 3 (hard to find); No. 4's can be scrunched down to work.

**The water arm under the lid requires that the user move it out of the way to change the coffee filter.

**When adding water, the water level indicator, which is on the right side of the machine, lags a bit, making it easy to miss one's mark.

**One must be careful to line up the coffee carafe with the machine to avoid spilling coffee coming out of the filter.

**The screw lid is very difficult to turn! It sometimes takes a bit of elbow grease, and the non-skid grooves can then be a bit hard on the fingers.

**There is a separate cap that would be easy to lose because it must be removed during brewing.

Our old Krupps had none of these problems. We're living with our Zojirushi, though the far more expensive Braun KF600 Impressions Coffee Maker now looks all the more appealing. Get more detail about Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker.
