I have had this for a little over a month, and I am extremely pleased. The insulated carafe keeps my morning coffee hot for at least 4 hours, the scheduling feature is extremely convenient, and the little lid (the one that is placed on top of the screw-on lid) is great if you want to have hot coffee for more than 4-ish hours. Everything is extremely easy to clean, attractive, and functional. I set everything up before bed, set the timer, and wake up to freshly brewed hot coffee in a super-attractive carafe that is cool to the touch on the outside. The only downside is that you cannot see how much coffee is left in the pot without opening the lid - this doesn't bother me but it did bother my mom, who returned the one I ordered for her after I was extremely satisfied with mine. I personally think that this small detail is hardly important when you consider the fact that the reason you can't see through the carafe is because it is made of two layers of stainless steel that are designed to keep your coffee hot for hours. I suppose if having a clear carafe is more important to you than delicious hot coffee, this is not the coffee maker for you.
