Buy Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker

I needed a new Coffee maker to replace the aging Cuisinart grind and brew machine, and after reading many reviews I wasn't quite ready to plop down on a more expensive machine. This machine looked nice and sounded like It was just what I was looking for after reading the reviews here. When I got the machine home and opened the box, I was already skeptical after doing a once-over. The one big glaring problem was the sticker on the bottom stating- "Made In China"- O'great I thought. I know not everything made In China Is "C"rappy, and this Is not bad, but It's still cheaply made.

I like the fact that this machine Is designed well and Is easy to clean but the pluses stop there. The machine DOES NOT brew coffee at 195-200*. I've checked It several times with a digital thermometer with cold and warm filtered water, the best you can hope for Is 185-189*. The outside Is somewhat stainless, but all the Innards are made of cheap quality plastic, except for the pot Itself which Is Steel Inside. It does no good to have a good permanent filter If It's used In conjunction with cheap plastic Innards that collect orders, no matter how you clean them. The buttons also have a very cheap feel to them, and I would not trust this machine overnight to brew morning coffee. It will do for now, but I think I'll get the Kitchen Aid machine next, as allot of the machine Including the brew basket are made of stainless steel. At least I got a Carafe out off this thing, but even that does not work all that well.Get more detail about Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker.
