I have had this coffee maker for a year and a half. Having lived in Japan for several years, I knew the brand and the quality. I think it makes great coffee and I am a COMPLETE coffee snob! I like to have a cup throughout the day, and I am always pleased at how warm it is at the end of the day.
It can be hard to loosen the lid after it has brewed, but I just use a dry dish cloth on the top to get a better grip. No big deal and certainly not a flaw worthy of lowering it's rating.
