I've been searching for a drip coffee maker that makes hot coffee and keeps it hot. This one with the difficult to pronounce name does just that. The drip basket is thermally insulated so the water does not cool as it accumulates in the basket. The result is hot coffee in the insulated carafe that stays hot for a couple of hours. The only minus is that you have to be careful to clean the drip basket after use. If grounds get into the spring loaded drip mechanism the water can back up and the result is coffee everywhere. This happened twice before I consulted the manual. The good news is the the drip basket is easily removed. It simply slides up. You clean it and you're in business.
